Our Teams
Virtus Athletics offers two different styles of cheerleading; All-Star Cheerleading and Performance Advanced Cheerleading.
Both styles have the opportunity to compete in their own National Championship in Florida each year.
All-Star Cheerleading
All-Star cheerleading is a competitive, performance-based sport that combines stunting, tumbling, jumps and dance that our Virtus staff turns into a visually appealing routine. Unlike school cheerleading, there is no cheer section. All-Star teams are divided by age and skill division. Virtus competes on the elite and prep scoresheet.
Performance Advanced Cheerleading
Performance Advanced cheerleading is a type of cheerleading that is similar to Virginia High School League's cheer style. These teams will perform a specific level of skills for tumbling and building, like all All-Star teams. The additional piece that makes Performance Advanced cheer different is that there is a cheer section. This division is a unique division for programs here in Virginia and we are excited to put our name on the map!
